Lorraine Landau has an M.Ed. in Applied Human Development and Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University, and three years of postgraduate education from The Center for Family Learning for Mental Health Professionals.
She is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of New York with years of experience in addictions including eating disorders. She incorporates the yoga poses and breathing into her counseling practice. She is certified with The International Association for Eating Disorders, the National Board for Certified Counselors, and Clinical Mental Health Counselors.
Lorraine has studied 200 hours with Yoga Club Fit. She has taught classes for twenty years including Yoga, Pilates, and Barre in addition to other cardio classes such as low impact with weights, rowing, and cycling.
The focus of her practice is to dramatically impact athletic performance, improve alignment, balance, core stability, strength, flexibility, agility, endurance, lung capacity and mobility.
Marianne is a certified Pilates instructor, attaining her training through the Power Pilates method of "Contrology" - a complete coordination of body, mind and spirit developed by Joseph Pilates. All exercises are based on the philosophy that our mind controls our
muscles. Marianne has practiced pilates for fourteen years and taught for the past four years. Her passion for Pilates grew after noticing the difference it made in her own life, helping with chronic lower back issues. Her training has included Anatomy and Pilates for Seniors. Marianne also has 25 years experience of ballroom dancing.
Lea-Ann has been a student of yoga for 29 years where along the way she learned yoga changes everything. Lea-Ann is a 500-hour certified yoga instructor completing her 200-hour teacher training at Yogaworks NYC and her 300-hour teacher training with nOMad always at OM in Beacon, NY. Lea-Ann’s classes focus on refining alignment, building strength, and developing mind/body awareness. Lea-Ann creates a fun, relaxing environment guiding her students to listen to their breath and connect it to movement. In every class, Lea-Ann can help students modify poses to accommodate physical limitations or different body types.
